    Functional circuitry of the visual thalamus and the primary visual cortex (current focus is on the visual processing across different layers of V1)/Neural basis of visual perception (current focus is on the role of the black-over-white bias in visual perception)/The role of neural synchrony and oscillation in visual perception. (current focus is on the neural basis of illusory contours)
