講者介紹:

Chou-Yu (Joey) Tsai

Chou-Yu (Joey) Tsai is the Osterhout Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship at Binghamton University, State University of New York. He specializes in entrepreneurship and leadership research and serves as the Associate Director of the Bass Center for Leadership Studies, as well as the PhD program coordinator for the Leadership and Organizational Science Area. Additionally, he is a member of the editorial board forLeadership Quarterly.

Before joining Binghamton University, Dr. Tsai held faculty positions at California State University and Penn State University. His research expertise includes leadership in entrepreneurship, virtual team dynamics, human capital emergence, and robotic technology. He is currently collaborating with Cornell University on projects related to leadership in human-robot interactions and with Waseda University to enhance entrepreneurship programs and foster innovation in the Greater Tokyo area.

In 2023, Dr. Tsai was recognized as one of the Top 50 Undergraduate Business Professors by Poets & Quants. His research has been published in journals such as Leadership Quarterly, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, Journal of Organizational Behavior, and Journal of Applied Psychology. His work has also been featured in Forbes, the New York Post, FOX TV, and Success Magazine. Dr. Tsai has received Best Paper Awards from the Academy of Management (AOM) conferences, including in the Organizational Behavior and Human Resource divisions. This year, his paper on using AI and machine learning to explore virtual team dynamics and leadership emergence won the Best Division Paper Award from the Communication, Digital Technology, and Organization (CTO) Division at the AOM conference. Beyond academia, Dr. Tsai frequently consults for organizations on leadership development and innovation strategy, bridging the gap between research and practical application.
